01-Important things

A ruined wooden house is explored by a person clad in gas mask and military-like clothing. He keeps his gun close to his hands while he searches rooms one by one, trying to find valuable things; canned food, clothing, batteries, or maybe luxuries like books.

The house is empty, like previous ones, and only thing that gets his attention is a book in bad condition. As brittle pages fall, a photo drops to the floor. A memory from the past, altough not from his, is better than nothing. Putting the photo to his vest he exists the room.

The second floor is all that remains unexplored, and he climbs up creaky stairs a bit more reassured than a moment ago.

Black & white is much better choice, especially because I'm not very good with colours anyway. I let better artists share the beauty of colours.

This version doesn't have texts, I'm trying to figure out what style fits this page (and comic)...
