The Battle of Unnumbered Tears

The fifth battle in the wars of Beleriand, Nírnaeth Arnoediad, as told in J.R.R. Tolkiens Silmarillion.

"The last reserves of Angband under Glaurung the Dragon attacked between Maedhros' and Fingons forces, and the army broke and fled in disorder.

The Dwarves of Belegost helped them as their forces formed a rearguard, holding off Glaurung and allowing the Elven Lords to escape. Glaurung was vulnerable to the Dwarves' axes, while the Dwarves themselves wore fire-resistant iron masks and were naturally able to resist fire better than Elves or Men.

Pen & Ink - work. It took long to finish this, but I'm happy with this one. Not a single mistake with drawing ink, and it's exciting to try something totally new.

Bad sides; I drew many versions of dwarven armors and gear, and eventually I ended up drawing them from the back... Well, I think I can use some of 'em when I draw "The Fall Of Azaghâl" in near future.
